Volunteer Wetland Monitoring

Volunteer wetland monitoring allows non-professional volunteers to observe the conditions and changes of their local wetlands over time. This encourages the public to connect with their local wetlands and learn to collect and analyze data. It also provides wetland professionals with observational information that they would not otherwise have. Below are links to the Volunteer Wetland Monitoring Handbook and an example of volunteers monitoring their local wetlands.
