Restoring fish and wildilfe habitat, assessing and monitoring watershed condition, and conveying the importance of watershed enhancement to the public are examples of fields that require special knowledge if one is to skillfully manifest change. The issues relevant to watershed enhancement in the Deschutes Basin are complex and ever changing. Luckily, much work has already been done by others, and these people and organizations have the expertise to guide those new to the challenge.
