Welcome to the Oregon Explorer advanced mapping tool. You can use this tool to create your own maps of any area within Oregon using our collection of Geographic Information System (GIS) data layers, including the 2005 half-meter orthoimagery. To view this imagery dataset as a backdrop in the mapping tool, you should turn off the following Base Map Features: Counties, Oregon State Boundary, and Western States.

Use the advanced mapping tool if you are familiar with basic GIS mapping techniques. You will be able to create maps using all available data layers and make use of the advanced tool set.
