To support the Oregon Conservation Strategy, the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife works with the Institute for Natural Resources to track the status of priority habitats over time.
The 11 priority, or strategy habitats include: aspen, coastal dunes, riparian, wetland, sage, late-succesional mixed conifer forest, estuaries, grasslands, oak woodlands, ponderosa pine and freshwater aquatic habitats. For each of these habitat types reporting will include:
