Oregon's Integrated Water Resources Strategy

In December 2017, the Water Resources Commission adopted Oregon’s Integrated Water Resources Strategy, a framework for better understanding and meeting instream and out-of-stream water needs, including water quantity, water quality, and ecosystem needs. Using a process that involved extensive public outreach, the 2017 Strategy identifies the most critical water‐related challenges facing communities throughout Oregon. It offers recommendations in 13 different issue areas to address these challenges. The strategy was developed by the Oregon Water Resources Department.
