Pellet Map Project

The Pellet Map Project is an Oregon State University Department of Integrative Biology project to map small mammal distributions through their avian predators. The major goal of Pellet Map Project is to produce high-quality distribution data on small mammals in the Western United States, and make that data available for both academic and non-academic researchers. A second goal of Pellet Map Project is to engage the public in awareness of the natural world around us. The project has produced an interactive map that allows users to explore the data from a geographic standpoint.
