Invasive Invertebrates
Invasive invertebrates can be a serious problem in aquatic systems and are invading at a rapid pace. Most recently, the invasion of the zebra mussel has caused concern sue to the rapid changes to the ecosystem that it invades.
The following are a list of invasive aquatic invertebrates that are a portion of the "Top 100" invasive species in Oregon.

- Asian tapeworm (Bothriocephalus acheilognath)
- fishhook waterflea (Cercopagis pengoi)
- Japanese shore crab (Hemigrapsus sanguineus)
- Japanese oyster drill (Ceratostoma inornatum)
- Leidy's comb jelly Mnemiopsis leidyi
- mitten crabs Eriocheir spp.*
- New Zealand isopod Sphaeroma quoyanum
- New Zealand sea slug Philine auriformis
- rusty crayfish Orconectes rusticus
- spiny waterflea Bythotrephes cederstroemi
- veined rapa whelk Rapana venosa
- zebra mussel Dreissena polymorpha
